ELIGIBILITY

You must be single and over the age of 21 to join Social Spice.  For your convenience prospective members can join over the internet, by phone or by mail.  Membership is not activated until the membership agreement has been completed and the joining fee has been processed.

JOINING FEE

There is a non refundable very affordable joining fee.

EVENTS

All events must be prepaid and payments processed before a member can attend an event.  Events need to be booked no less than 48 hours before.  An exception can sometimes be made but you must call Social Spice first.

REFUND POLICY

There is a no refund policy regarding members joining fee and events.  Once an event is booked, if a member cannot attend, they can transfer the booking to another member but must make Social Spice aware of the transfer.  Depending on the type of event and the notice given, there maybe a possibility that a credit can be given towards another event, but it is at the discretion of Social Spice.  If a situation occurs that is out of our control, Social Spice may need to reschedule the event or change the venue.  If the change of plan does not suit the member then that amount will become a credit towards another future event.

PRIVACY POLICY

Personal information collected by Social Spice is for the primary purpose of membership requirements and will not be divulged to any third party or be released for any form of commercial gain.  The information will be maintained in a secure environment as per the requirements of the Privacy Act.

BEHAVIOUR

Social Spice reserves the right to terminate a membership with no refund if a member displays inappropriate or abusive behavior or for any reason.  Members are expected to be friendly and courteous to each other.  Members will be given a reasonable chance to respond to any complaints and to amend their behaviour.

LIABILITY

Members, guests or invitees of Social Spice that attend an event sponsored by Social Spice attend at their own risk. Social Spice shall bear no liability for any loss, damage or injury sustained directly or indirectly by any such person.  Members, guests or invitees of Social Spice waive any liability on the part of Social Spice from any claim, action or right they may have against Social Spice.  Members, guests or invitees includes their heirs and personal representatives.  Social Spice includes the directors and shareholders of it.  To process your application you must agree to these terms by ticking the appropriate box in the applicable page.
